UConn Makes it 4 in a Row with Thriller Over Temple

It’s not quite March, but don’t tell that to the surging Huskies.

Down 10 with just over eight minutes to go, Uconn followed up their comeback win over Memphis on Wednesday with another late rally to take down Temple in Philadelphia.  Jalen Adams, scored 13 points for the Huskies including the game-winning driving layup while draped with defenders with 2.9 seconds left. The basket gave UConn their first lead of the second-half and secured the victory for the suddenly surging Huskies.  The offensive struggles that persisted for the first 32 minutes of the contest were quickly forgotten as the Huskies got out of Philly with a huge AAC victory against the 8th seeded Owls.

Uconn improves to 14-12 (8-5 in AAC play) with a date with the Cougars in Houston, Wednesday Night.
